First, we rotated and realigned the structure to improve its site orientation, preserving a portion of the original to serve as a stylistic reference point for the modern addition. An open rear courtyard brings light inward and provides a private gathering place. The spare, modern interior is balanced by traditional Victorian exteriors, honoring the structure’s origins.
